R&T Trading Cards began when we were sitting around with our children opening packs of cards we purchased at the nearest brick and mortar store for the hobby some 25+ miles away over some treacherous highway Santa Cruzians know well. We had the idea to open a store in our beloved Santa Cruz community. We then got busy. Though, we felt just a traditional sport card store wasn't exactly what we were looking for so we began searching for other models to better serve our community and discovered a growing 'one stop shop' for not just collecting cards but for building community.
